Your media center window ratio might be a square or widescreen, however when you resize the window, the window ratio stays the same. To change this, simply hold ctrl button while resizing the screen and it’ll change the ratio.
This is probably due to 1.5tb or 2.0tb+ drives in your system using a special formatted type. Disconnect all of your hard drives except for the one you are installing onto and install. Another suggested fix is that you should format the drive you are installing the OS onto then boot into windows 7 and install.
So a lot of rootkit scanners are no longer working in Windows 7. Here’s one: http://www.blogsdna.com/4325/scan-detect-remove-rootkits-from-windows-7-with-sophos-anti-rootkit.htm
You are launching the wrong product. Don’t launch Rainbrowser, launch rainmeter first.

There aren’t any officially released Windows 7 drivers but the old ones will install fine. I’ve uploaded them for easy access (above).
If you have some odd looking folders with amd64 and i386 folders that you cannot delete, here’s how to delete them. Right click amd64 folder -> properties -> security -> advanced -> owner -> edit -> select administrator -> OK out of all the properties tabs. Right click it again, properties -> security -> edit -> add -> type in Everyone under Enter the object names to select box. click ok, make sure “full control” is allowed for everyone, click ok, and delete the folder. Do the same for the i386 folder.
Your laptop keyboard maybe functioning previously, may be still functioning in bios, in start-up boot cds, and even when you press F8 to get into safe mode. However it may not work when you log in. SOLUTION: Unplug your laptop battery and try again.
This is pretty much due to your anti-virus scanning the file that you have downloaded. Type about:config in your firefox browser, goto browser.download.manager.scanWhenDone and set it to false. Then goto your nod32 setup. Enter entire advanced setup tree, goto exclusions, and add your download folder to the exclusions. Note: you will have to manually scan files in your download folder for any viruses.

I just got an Emachine with Windows7. I am trying to install Outlook Express. It tells me to go to Start, the All Programs, then Outlook Express. The problem is Outlook Express is not listed in All Programs. Can you tell me how to install it. Thanks
I have a fresh copy of Windows 7 installed and I do not see Outlook Express. One thing you can try is, when you click start, immediately just start typing “Outlook” and windows will automatically search the start menu to see if outlook is installed. If nothing shows up, then Windows 7 doesn’t have Outlook installed. I do believe that Windows 7 comes with windows Live Mail which you can import e-mail accounts. It also suports Microsoft’s Exchange e-mail accounts.
