Access Denied amd64 i386 folders
If you have some odd looking folders with amd64 and i386 folders that you cannot delete, here’s how to delete them. Right click amd64 folder -> properties -> security -> advanced -> owner -> edit -> select administrator -> OK out of all the properties tabs. Right click it again, properties -> security -> edit -> add -> type in Everyone under Enter the object names to select box. click ok, make sure “full control” is allowed for everyone, click ok, and delete the folder. Do the same for the i386 folder.

Hi – I have problem above and tried it to delete these folders off my external hard drive. It didn’t seem to work. It still says you’ll need to provide administrator permission. This external hard drive used to be connected to an XP computer.
